The World was a PC game - it's meant to be on the PC.

Consoles are limited, censored, under-powered and restricted. Also, PlayStation's controller is poorly designed, making little to no improvements on an old design despite research pointing to faster, more intelligent and ergonomic layouts (mistakenly understood as/underhandedly touted as "not fixing something that isn't broken"), the network is broken (widely accepted as fact), not to mention most of their network games are buggy and just not as good as the competitor's iteration of the same code.

*Gives angry look to broken XBOX 360 on desk, completely taken part*

... XBOX 360 is stupid, too.

PC. All the way. I don't even have a decent gaming PC, but I'd hate to see The World on anything but.

Default O'rly?

well id beg to differ about the psn being buggy, cod:mw2 did a good job with the online, so... its not impossible to make a decent online game for consoles*cough* mag *cough*, it depends on how you approach the online, and even WOW and any other mmo made around the same time could be put on a console(dc universe online is above a few graphically)

but... the world is probably not in its true form for a mmo so its hard to say(likely meant for the rumored ps9, from that old ps2 commercial :P)

I agree with Soniku. If the game was for ps3 then how would the company make it's updates and such?

you can alter the way it updates from the usual psn way, by pushing it further into the program like setting up a launcher with communities and news before you launch the game itself so its more like pc mmo launchers where the game is launched from a button in another program like say altimit mine or altimit where you do updates that are quicker than ps3 game updates, lower the graphics so it doesnt take up too much memory so you can include video recording and party chat

its all about how you use the resources, and it would make things easier all around with builtin voice chat
